Mysterious lake of Tunisia!
In August 2014, residents of the Gafsa desert region of Tunisia were stunned by an incredible sight. And there was a lake near Umm Al-Aris Road ... Who was not there yesterday
It was as if the lake had appeared "overnight."
As news of this mysterious lake spread, hundreds of people flocked to see it.
The lake was named Lac de Gafsa.
The depth of the lake is at least 10 meters and at most 18 meters.
At the time of its appearance, the color of the lake water was blue, which after some time turned green.
The lake has been a popular tourist and swimming destination in Fass since then.

But how did this lake finally appear overnight?
Experts on the subject say that there must have been a mild earthquake in the area that night, which pushed the groundwater reserves upwards and thus accumulated millions of cubic meters of water in the form of a lake.
Born in the middle of a dry and barren desert, this lake is undoubtedly very beautiful and has a mythical landscape.

اگست 2014 میں تیونس کے ریگستانی علاقے ڨفصة Gafsa کے رہائشی ایک ناقابلِ یقین منظر دیکھ کر دنگ رہ گئے . اور وہ تھا "ام العریس روڈ " کے نزدیک ایک جھیل۔۔۔۔ جو گزشتہ روز وہاں موجود نہ تھی ۔
یوں لگ رہا تھا کہ جیسے یہ جھیل "راتوں رات" کی نمودار ہوگئی ہو ۔
اس پراسرار جھیل کی خبر پھیلتے ہی سینکڑوں کے حساب سے لوگ اسے دیکھنے کو آنے جانے لگے۔
اس جھیل کو Lac de Gafsa کا نام دیا گیا ۔
اس جھیل کی گہرائی کم از کم 10 اور زیادہ سے زیادہ 18 میٹر ہے۔
نمودار ہوتے وقت جھیل کے پانی کا رنگ نیلا تھا جوکہ کچھ عرصے بعد سبزی مائل ہوگیا ۔
یہ جھیل تب سے اب تک ڨفصة میں سیر و سیاحت اور تیراکی کا معروف مقام ہے ۔

لیکن یہ جھیل آخر راتوں رات نمودار کیسے ہوگئی ؟
اس مدعے پر ماہرین کا یہ کہنا ہے کہ یقیناً اس رات مذکورہ علاقے میں ہلکی نوعیت کا کوئی زلزلہ آیا ہوگا جس نے زیرزمین پانی کے ذخیرہ کو اوپر کی طرف دھکیل دیا اور اس طرح لاکھوں کیوبک میٹر پانی ایک جھیل کی صورت میں وہاں جمع ہوگیا ۔
خشک اور بےآب و گیاہ ریگستان کے بیچوں بیچ پیدا ہوئی یہ جھیل بلاشبہ بیحد خوبصورت اور افسانوی نوعیت کے مناظر کی حامل ہے۔
